Legal & General is dedicating to campaigning for employers to engage and address mental wellbeing in the workplace. They launched their inaugural national Not a Red Card Awards earlier this year, which celebrates businesses and individuals who have developed and implemented best practices around addressing mental health in the workplace and we are proud that we have won for our wellbeing initiative Hapus.

The prestigious awards were held at The Oval in London last week and were hosted by Gabby Logan, and recognised businesses who have demonstrated how they have tackled the issue of mental health in the workplace and have exhibited tangible tactics that can be shared with other organisations looking to address mental health.

We are delighted to have been announced as the winner of the Best Mental Health Initiative for SMEs award. We know that there are many factors which can impact upon a person’s wellbeing, which is why we have implemented our dynamic health and wellbeing initiative. Being recognised by Legal & General in this way is a real testament to hard work of our wellbeing team who have worked closely with colleagues to provide a comprehensive mental health support package that aims to improve the lives of employees, both in and outside of the workplace.”

Nigel Wilson, CEO, Legal & General said:

“All the winners of the Not A Red Card Awards have demonstrated their commitment to driving change and removing the stigma around mental health in the workplace. With these awards, we aim to celebrate the achievements of organisations but we also hope to encourage other businesses to foster an open and mental health literate environment where their employees can flourish.”
