We are proudly showcasing one of our very own staff member’s personal journeys, and sharing his story with you.
Shane originally got involved with Rhondda Housing Association a couple of years ago when he became engaged with our Community Development (‘Get Involved’) team and spent time volunteering with us. He dedicated his time in the Finance department, multi tasking and coming in to the office completing admin duties on a daily basis for almost a year. When a vacancy arose, Shane applied for the role and following a recruitment process and interview, he was chosen as the successful candidate and began working with us on a full time basis. Shane has been a real asset to the Finance team, and his positive attitude has established an excellent rapport with tenants, and all RHA staff alike.
Shane and ourselves are now working with TSW Training, who are an approved training supplier for the Welsh Government and can identify funding opportunities to make progress on Shane’s qualifications. Shane has now signed up to his NVQ Business Administration qualification which will enhance his abilities and future prospects.
Well done Shane and good luck in progressing your studies. We are lucky to have you at RHA.
