Clos Ynysygrug, Trealaw


Trealaw is the longest village in the Rhondda valley. It stretches for over two miles from the outskirts of Porth to the edge of Llwynypia and it also contains Rhys Street, the longest street in the Rhondda. As a result of its length it is served by three separate train stations (Dinas, Tonypandy & Llwynypia) and two separate bus routes (120 & 175). It contains two primary schools (Alaw and Trealaw) while it is served by both Porth County Community School and Tonypandy Community College.
