Fforch Close, Treorchy

Treorchy is a bustling village located high in the Rhondda Fawr.

It is well known for its high street as it contains a high proportion of locally owned shops. Treorchy is also home to their world famous male voice choir and the auditorium synonymous with them, the Parc and Dare theatre. This is also famous for hosting the National Eisteddfod in 1928, the only time a national event has been held in the Rhondda. Treorchy is served by both a local primary and comprehensive school.
