Maintenance Services Update
May 3, 2017
From Monday 1st May 2017, any general building maintenance repairs needed at your home will be completed either by LCB Construction Ltd., Property Building Maintenance (Wales) Ltd. or Flair Electrical Engineering Ltd. if Rhondda Housing Association’s own direct labour employees are unable to call to complete the repair.
All three contractors have the ability to complete a whole range of repairs so if you have a problem with one of your doors, a leak from a tap or a problem with your electrics then any one of these contractors will be able to rectify the problem for you.
If any adaptation type work, other than stairlifts, is needed at your home then this type of work will also be completed either by LCB Construction Ltd., Property Building Maintenance (Wales) Ltd. or Flair Electrical Engineering Ltd. External decoration work and any emergency out of hours work will also be completed by one of these contractors when required.
If you have any problem with your gas central heating system then there will not be any change to this. Liberty Gas will still be the ones to report any gas central heating repairs to.
If we decide at some point in the future that your home needs new windows or external doors then these will be installed either by Vision Products or Total Doors.
When we decide that your home needs a new kitchen, bathroom or shower then these will be installed either by Property Building Maintenance (Wales) Ltd. or M. Delacey and Sons (Holdings) Ltd.
Any asbestos, legionella or fire safety type work that needs to be completed at your home or within any communal areas will either be carried out by Advanced Fire Protection or PHH Environmental.
Rhondda Housing Association is looking forward to working with all of these contractors for the next four years and is confident that they will all be able to provide you and us with a quality right first time maintenance service.
