Funding success for our new exciting Chat & Craft project!

Posted on by Gavin Holley

We are absolutely delighted to have been awarded funding from The National Lottery Community Fund Wales for our new Chat & Craft project which will start soon!

Our new project will help bring people together and form friendships and address loneliness through new community groups that will offer fun & creative opportunities for people to socialise and build new skills.

This new Chat & Craft creative project aims to not only bring people together but also enable more people to fulfil their potential by working to address issues at the earliest possible stage and create meaningful empowerment.

We will tackle isolation and loneliness though facilitating person centred community groups, bringing isolated and vulnerable people together in a safe environment, so they can build strong and supportive relationships with other people in their own community.

Chat & Craft will deliver accessible opportunities for people by starting several small groups in RCT. Initially these would be in Tynewydd, Treorchy and Tonypandy, but with the hope to be able to expand further as this project flourishes.
