Rhondda Housing Association (RHA) is a ‘not for profit’ responsible social housing landlord who manages over 1700 homes across Rhondda Cynon Taff. Established in 1979, RHA has grown and diversified to be a trusted partner in the area and a leading provider of new housing developments.
We have a very ambitious development programme and are committed to regenerating areas and ensuring that good quality affordable homes are available. We offer a range of products such as homes to rent as well as a small number of homes to buy on low cost home ownership schemes and we also build and manage a commercial portfolio to underpin our desire to create cohesive regeneration.
RHA is so more than “just a landlord”, and we are committed to providing services such as support, volunteering, work experience, money advice and varied community engagement projects. We support and deliver a large number of these projects in the area to help our tenants and communities develop and reach their potential. Including our Supporting People funded – Homelessness Intervention Project team.
Tenant inclusion and engagement is a key focus of our work and we pride ourselves on our pro-active approach to hear their views and help us to improve our services in all our departments. By doing this we are all working together to create a brighter future for all our neighbourhoods and communities.
