The maintenance department is responsible for reactive maintenance for the Association. It incorporates day to day repairs, void ( empty ) property works and providing an out of hours
emergency repair service.
The department is also responsible for the maintenance of gas central heating systems and ensuring that the annual landlord’s gas check is carried out
The department consists of the maintenance manager, two building surveyors and a directly employed carpenter and plumber who carry out repairs to the Association’s properties.
Two main contractors are employed to carry out general repairs and void works. Other contractors are employed to carry out specialist works;
Including electrical repairs, gas maintenance and servicing.
