Moving Home

If you decide to end your tenancy with us you will need to give us 4 weeks notice in writing. If you prefer to phone or call into the office we will accept your notice this way, but we will ask you to sign a form to indicate when you are leaving.

The four weeks notice will always begin on a Monday, so if you contact us in the middle of the week we will start the four weeks notice on the following Monday. You must carry on paying rent during the last 4 weeks of your tenancy. We will carry on charging rent until we receive the keys.

It is essential that you return your property in a good clean condition. Before you leave we will visit you and inspect your property.

Relationship Breakdown

We will try to help tenants who are going through a relationship breakdown by finding alternative accommodation, either at Rhondda Housing Association or with another Social Landlord.

When we refer to relationships we include couples who are married, couples who are living together (whether they are mixed or single sex) relatives living together (eg. Mother and son) and friends sharing a home.

We have excellent contacts with agencies who can offer advice and assistance to anyone experiencing relationship difficulties. We can give you details of these organisations at any time.
